I tried the Proactiv system one day when I was in sixth grade, and it quite literally burned my skin. It was so bad that my mother let me stay home from school that day.
This is a very mediocre toner for the price. The inclusion of glycolic acid is a good thing, but the high level of lye can make this irritating. You'd probably be better off with a drugstore toner, or one from a somewhat expensive brand that at least uses quality ingredients.
