I think this product works really well. My face feels really clean but it never burns, no matter what stage my current acne is in (and I have pretty bad acne right now, even though I'm in my mid 40's) - whether it just arrived or if I accidentally broke the skin with my washcloth, I don't have to worry that this wash will cause irritation. I was surprised though that there actually isn't any Salicylic Acid in it, since they put that all over the bottle and on the website. I don't care that much though - it's not all that useful in a wash, it's better in a treatment that you leave on. Most of my Kiehl's products seems to have fairly decent ingredients, so I keep using them. But I always check first - to be safe!
