I have tried so many scalp cleansers and scrubs over the years and have never been satisfied with any of them... until now. Uka Scalp Cleanser is very effective at removing all the product buildup, skin-cell/dandruff buildup, and excess oil from my scalp. The applicator tip is great at depositing the cleanser directly on my scalp (and NOT my hair which was such a problem with other scalp products). The smell is mild and pleasant...a nice herbal scent.
When massaging the cleanser on my scalp it immediately turns into this awesome soft fine foam. Caution: The first time I applied it, I applied too much and the foam ended up totally covering a good amount of my hair and when I rinsed out my hair, it was unpleasantly squeaky clean, tangled and I couldn't even run my fingers through it, the foam had just stripped away all the natural oils on my hair. So remember to concentrate it ONLY on your scalp! But after that time, I used less and concentrated massaging just my scalp and it does an incredible job. My scalp feels SO MUCH better, like it can breathe. It has definitely helped with the health of my scalp and hair and will be reordering when I run out. -Emily
