Hi guys!

I'm trying to make my own DIY facial serums, but have no clue which skincare ingredients work best at which ph levels

For example, I know L-Ascorbic Acid (a form of Vitamin C) works best at ph 2.5-3.5... But what about Hyaluronic Acid? or Alpha Arbutin? or Green Tea Extract? or Ceramides...? If anyone knows the different ph requirements for different skincare ingredients, please help :D! <3

I'm glad that someone talks about ph of the skin because I'm also interest in this topic too. Personally, I would focus on active ingredient like vitamins(ascorbic acid) aha bha pha - required low ph lower than 3.8 to work effectively (I think)
vitamin a, niacinamide- required high level too work well ( I think it's around 7)
when I put my skincare routine I will avoid using skincare that has a different levels, so the active ingredient will work effectively!

hope I can help

Hello!

I would not recommend making DIY skincare.
Instead, buy a serum, usually their formulas are better

:) bye
