Hi guys, does anyone hear about the skincare product which is used by the nuclear diver? I am here to ask for some skincare products to maintain my skin texture after my work. While working it is difficult to maintain my skin. Recently I was searching about nuclear diving, I didn't find anything related to skin issues. Does anyone have any idea on this, please share your thoughts.

This is super niche, and I don't think there are any brands making stuff for such niches. My husband faced this problem (he is a mountaineer, not a diver though) and I did a bit of research, which helped him tremendously. The core issue for pilots, mountaineers and divers is decompression sickness. Low oxygen levels, low/high air pressure and high concentration of other gases, creates nasty rashes. Rashes are an outcome of the exposure.

For such cases, dump your usual emollient-based-moisturizer and use a humectant-based-moisturizer (google these if you don't know); and get something with high concentration of humectants. In brief, humectants pull moisture from surroundings, while your usual moisturizer creates a plastic-like sheet to stop loss of body moisture. If you're operating in a humid/water environment (which also includes professional swimmers), humectants are a must. This saves your skin in a big way. My husband uses this. I personally like No 141 and my husband likes No 142. Use humectants before getting on your wetsuit.

If you already have rashes use No 251 or No 252, depending on your skin type. My husband's skin was badly damaged before he started using them. When he went to a dermatologist, the dermatologist suggested him to stay away from anything acidic. She said, "it's poison for you". The dermatologist recommended this, and that's how we got to know about this European brand. And whole family now vouches for this brand.

Find a good dermatologist, that's another option for you as well.

It's important to establish a consistent skincare routine that includes cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, and protecting the skin from the sun. Choosing products that are suitable for your skin type and concerns is also crucial, as well as avoiding harsh chemicals and irritants. In addition, practicing healthy habits such as drinking plenty of water, eating a balanced diet, and getting enough sleep can also contribute to overall skin health. Regular visits to a dermatologist or skincare professional can also provide personalized advice and treatment options for specific skin concerns. At, you can find a list of skincare services provided by specialists.
