I had a pretty extreme bad reaction to this. Hives, milia all over and it took a few days for my skin to calm down. I wish I had patch tested first - but I'm so used to EltaMD products being great for sensitive skin and it seems to be an HG product for many. I think it was the octinoxate that did it, but I'm not 100% certain. I've been avoiding that ingredient when shopping for face/body sunscreen because of this incident.

I had the patch testing result yesterday. And I’m suddenly developed an ++ allergy to this after 3 years of using. I liked this product before. Now it’s giving me huge allergic reaction! – rubyling 2021-06-12

Had high hopes for this sunscreen but it caused me to get milia bumps all over my face

This sunscreen made my face red, hot, and tight for 2 days after using. It was very uncomfortable. My eyes were also slightly swollen. I tried it again a few months later unsure if it was this product that was causing the issue and experienced the same problems again.
