【Pantothenic Acid(泛酸)】

功能 : 保濕劑、溶劑

亦稱維他命B5，號稱可以治療青春痘，不過僅有一篇1980年代初期的論文支持這樣的說法 (出處：International Journal of Dermatology, 1981, volume 20, pages 278-285)，之後沒有其他研究發現泛酸對治療青春痘是有效的，但有少數的研究發現它可以保水及促進傷口癒合 (出處：American Journal of Clinical Dermatology, 2002, volume 3, number 6, pages 427-433)。
