Gentle cleansing: Wash your face twice a day with a mild, non-comedogenic cleanser to remove dirt and oil.

Avoid touching your face: This can transfer bacteria and oils to your skin, leading to more pimples. If you want some better cure then must visit dosepharmacy.

Use over-the-counter products: Look for products containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These ingredients can help kill bacteria and unclog pores.

Don't pick or squeeze pimples: This can worsen acne and lead to scarring.

Eat a healthy diet: While there's no definitive link between diet and acne, a balanced diet can support overall skin health.

Manage stress: Stress can contribute to acne flare-ups. Try relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation.

Consult a dermatologist: If your acne is severe or not improving with over-the-counter treatments, see a dermatologist for professional advice.

Remember, it's important to be patient. Acne can be frustrating, but with proper care and time, it can be managed.

Avoid harsh scrubs: Scrubbing too hard can irritate your skin and worsen acne.

Use non-comedogenic makeup: Choose makeup products that won't clog your pores.

Wash your hair regularly: If you have oily hair, it can transfer to your face and contribute to acne.

Wear clean towels and pillowcases: These can harbor bacteria that can cause acne.

Don't share personal items: Avoid sharing towels, makeup, or other personal items with others.

Limit sun exposure: Excessive sun exposure can worsen acne and lead to scarring.

Consider professional treatments: If over-the-counter treatments aren't enough, a dermatologist may recommend professional treatments like chemical peels or laser therapy.

I know from personal experience how much this can impact a person, so I feel for anyone going through this at a young age. I also have a teenager with severe acne, so I am always looking for ways to improve his skin.

First thing, so NOT use alcohol or other harsh ingredients on your skin. It will only aggravate acne and mess with your skin's barrier.

I use this website to check all products that go on my skin. It is super important that you aren't adding to the problem.

If they wear makeup, removing it completely at night is key.
For cleansing, we use a gentle micellar water (Garnier pink bottle Gentle) or non-stripping cleanser, like First Aid Beauty gentle cleanser.

Also, we have found that masks have been incredibly helpful in the soothing and management of acne. Personally, we use Lapcos Honey Sheet masks and they have made the most difference of any kind of treatment. Also Queen Helene Mint Julep mask is a good rinse off option.

Sometimes, a gentle scrub can be helpful, but abrasive/harsh ones do more made than good. I have found that Swisspers exfoliating cottons rounds do an amazing job of exfoliating without being too harsh.

For treatment, we use Clinique's All-Over Clearing Acne Treatment Oil Free Lightweight Moisturizer With Benzoyl Peroxide, which I know isn't suitable if you have a allergy to Benzoyl Peroxide, but it's tried and true for us. Neutrogena Stubborn Acne AM Face Treatment is also a good option, but can be drying. This can also be used as a spot treatment if not needed all over.

A really nice PM moisturizer is Cetaphil Oil Absorbing Moisturizer with SPF 30. This one will sting if you get it close to the eyes, so be careful. It is also a great sunscreen, which is really important.

If they wear makeup, again check this site. Check it for everything that you put on your skin, so that you are not adding to the problem.

These are just suggestions, and many other products are good, but these have personally made a difference in my son's acne. I can really tell a difference between him staying vigilant with his routine and when he let's it go.

I truly hope that this help! I know the struggle and how hard it can be. 😢
